Introduction to Strength Training

This service is for athletes who are new to strength training. With so many different programs bouncing around the internet, it can be overwhelming to decipher what is right for you. Hiring a coach is the best first step you can take.

  • Fitness test to identify weaknesses and imbalances
  • Corrective action plan to address the test results
  • Mobility, stability, and joint health
  • Prepare the body for strength training
  • Form and muscle memory
  • Loaded strength training

General Strength Training

This plan is for athletes with some strength training experience that want to get to the next level. This plan is designed around overall strength with the focus on main compound lifts.

  • Prepare the body for progression
  • Establish a goal based block style program
  • 4-5 days per week
  • Progress tracking
  • Understand programming concepts to continue progressing without a coach

Sport Specific Training

This plan is designed as a peaking plan for athletes who have a competition scheduled.

  • Ideally 10-12 weeks to do the following
  • 3-4 days per week of relative strength training 
  • 1-2 days per week of event training
  • Event technique and efficiency
  • Proper dieting patterns to peak on the day
  • Travel with athlete to the competition. I will take care of EVERYTHING so you can focus on performing.

The Whole Package

This service will include all of my other services and more. For athletes with the goal of competing, we can get there together.

  • Ideally 16-20 weeks of general strength training, plus 8-10 weeks to train specifically for the competition.
  • Assistance finding a competition that's right for you.
  • There is no duration limit for this service. If your contest is 10 months away, sign up today and I'll be with you every step of the way.
  • I will travel with you to the contest and make sure you have everything you need so you can focus on performing. Leave everything else to me.
  • A rough diet plan will be discussed, but nutrition will ultimately be the responsibility of the athlete.
  • Light recovery methods will be provided, but off-day recovery will be the responsibility of the athlete.
